Itinerary
Day 1 – Pigeon Forge, TN – Country Tonite
Arrive in Pigeon Forge, TN and check into your hotel for a three night stay. Enjoy some free time at your hotel to freshen up and relax before dinner at the Applewood Farmhouse & Grill Restaurant. All meals are served with their signature Applewood Julep, Apple Fritters and Homemade Apple Butter.
After dinner, enjoy a fantastic show at Country Tonite. In this fast-paced production you will enjoy a variety of dynamic singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, powerful gospel, and American patriotism. From the strong talent of the youth performers, to the experienced veterans of the Country Tonite stage, the love of God, family and country resonates throughout the show. (D)
Day 2 – Smoky Mountains Tour – Old Smoky Moonshine – Hatfield & McCoys – Comedy Barn
Begin your day with a delicious hotel breakfast. Afterwards depart for Gatlinburg, TN, and enjoy a guided tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. America’s most visited national park.
Next, you enjoy free time in downtown Gatlinburg, TN. Relax and unwind with some free time while indulging your taste buds with lunch on your own at any one of the many delightful local restaurants.
The afternoon features a tour of Ole Smoky Moonshine Museum & Distillery. As you approach the entrance, you can detect the distinct smell of their grains cooking and fermenting. You’ll see authentic working moonshine stills and experience the process from beginning to end. The distillers will take the time to visit with you and answer any questions about the history and lore of moonshining in East Tennessee. Free tasting is offered where you can sample the Original Unaged Corn Whiskey, White Lightnin’ and Moonshine Cherries – plus seasonal and special flavors that aren’t available in stores.
Return to your hotel and enjoy some free time to freshen up and relax before beginning your evening. Tonight your dining & entertainment will be at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show. Become part of the longest running feud in history and help the Hatfields and McCoys try to settle their differences mountain-style. Whether you’re city-folk or country cuzins, you’ll love the singing and dancing, mighty feats of strength, jaw dropping stunts and side-splitting comedy. IT’S SOUTHERN FEUDIN’ FEASTIN’ FAMILY FUN AT THE HATFIELD & MCCOY DINNER SHOW!
After dinner, enjoy an evening show at The Comedy Barn Theater. The Comedy Barn Theater, located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is an award winning family comedy variety show. Their show features magicians, fire-eaters, jugglers, ventriloquists, clean family comedians, live country and gospel music as well as fun barn yard animals. (B,D)
Day 3 – The 29th Annual “A Mountain Quiltfest™” – The Island – Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show
After breakfast you head to The 27th Annual “A Mountain Quiltfest™.” Quilters from all around come together at the LeConte Convention Center in Pigeon Forge for this five-day long quilting event. Quilters have the opportunity to attend classes that are based on skill level and technique. There will also be a quilt show that displays a variety of quilts for your viewing pleasure. Quilters can choose between different categories to enter their quilts. The winners will go home with some great prizes! Be sure to check out the vendors’ booths for a variety of quilting necessities and unique accessories.
Classes and lectures are an additional fee and you have to be pre-registered (you will do this yourself). Full day classes are $75.00, Half day classes are $45.00, and each lecture is $30.00 (these costs do not include materials). All classes and lectures are offered on a first come, first serve basis and fill up quickly.

After spending your morning at Quiltfest you enjoy some free time at The Island for lunch on your own and shopping. The Island in Pigeon Forge has several cafes and restaurants, plus gift shops of all kinds. Take time to enjoy the Dancing Water Fountain Display in sync to music every hour on the hour. To get a bird’s eye view of the area, you can purchase a ticket to ride “The Wheel”, which rises 200 feet above the city. And of course, you will want to try a sample at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery. It’s always “5 O’Clock Somewhere” at Margaritaville, delicious biscuit mix to purchase at the Paula Deen Store, fudge to taste at The Fudgery, browse Emery 5 & 10 and meet a parrot at the Parrot Mountain store and so much more.
After a fun filled day of exploring and shopping depart for your Hotel and enjoy some free time to freshen up and relax before beginning your evening.
Tonight’s dining & entertainment will be at Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show. Dolly Parton’s Stampede is filled with a friendly North and South competition, thrilling horse riding stunts, spectacular special effects, phenomenal musical productions plus a mouth-watering four-course feast complete with a delicious dessert! Also, Stampede’s SKEETER & NUGGET show delivers a huge helping of family-friendly comedy at every show! As Dolly says “It’s the most fun place to eat in the Smokies.” (B,D)
Day 4 – Depart for Home
