2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s birth in 1776.  To celebrate, a fleet of International tall ships and military vessels will sail to the Virginia waterfront as part of Sail250 America.  Joining the festivities will be over 4,000 officers, cadets, and crews and over 55 ships from 20 nations. You will also mark the 50th anniversary of Harborfest with great food, entertainment, and spectacular fireworks all along the downtown waterfront.

The Old West Balloon Fest is a premier Hot Air Ballooning Event with over 80 colorful hot air balloons filling the sky with a morning mass ascension and evening glow.  Come enjoy the festival, learn about the Oregon Trail, Native American’s and the American Buffalo.

In 2025, the Tulip Time Festival is celebrating its 96th year! Holland has a rich history and heritage to share with its visitors. The Festival began in 1929 to celebrate Dutch heritage in the community.
