Itinerary

Day 1 – Niagara Falls, ON

Today, travel to Niagara Falls, ON. Check into your hotel for a three night stay. Dinner is on own this evening.

Day 2 – IMAX Theatre – Daredevil Exhibits – Butterfly Conservatory – Jet Boat Ride 

An exciting day begins with a visit to the Niagara Falls IMAX Theatre. Get ready to brave the raging waters as IMAX® takes you on a heart-pounding ride over Niagara Falls. Travel back in time to learn of its 12,000-year history and experience the death defying stunts performed by daredevils who challenged the fury of Niagara Falls.

Then you will visit the Daredevil Exhibit. Hear the stories, feel the fear and touch the actual daredevil barrels. The Daredevil gallery is the only collection of the original daredevil barrels. You will be amazed at the fragility of the contraptions that actually took people over the edge. See and touch the actual barrels, spheres and chambers of death that carried the daredevils over and down.

This is followed by a tranquil visit to the Butterfly Conservatory. A tropical paradise filled with lush vegetation, trickling waterfalls and thousands of vibrantly colored butterflies. Over 2,000 butterflies, made up of 45 different species, call this beautiful space home.

Then with motors roaring you charge into Niagara’s Whirlpool Rapids on a Jet Boat.   You can choose the Wet Jet – Open Air ride, or the Dry Jet – Dome Boat experience, but you are riding at high speed over Class V Whitewater Rapids in either.  Included with the thrill is a little history and geology about the majestic Niagara River,  packaged with the excitement of the class V rapids up close!

Return to the hotel to freshen up before dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 3 – Voyage to the Falls Boat Tour – Niagara-on-the-Lake – Wild Magic Dinner & Show

After breakfast this morning, you begin the day with Hornblower’s Voyage to the Falls Boat Tour. This new vendor replaces the historic Maid of The Mist only available on the New York side of the border.  But the experience is the same, you wear a red raincoat and cruise up-close into the mist of the magnificent American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and of course the mighty Horseshoe Falls. You’ll experience the thundering roar, awesome power and of Niagara.

The rest of the day will be spent in Niagara-on-the-Lake. First you enjoy a tour and tasting at one of the local wineries located in the heart of Niagara’s Wine Country.

Then you will have free time to explore Niagara-on-the-Lake on your own. With a wide variety of events, concerts, shows and attractions, there is always something to do in this beautiful town. Enjoy stunning vistas and the Heritage District — the centre of the Town’s shopping area, home to Landmark Shops. The town is known for its wineries and the summer Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. The flower-filled, tree-lined old town features 19th-century buildings, mainly along Queen Street. Near the river, 19th-century Fort George was built by the British to defend against American attacks.

Returning to Niagara Falls you enjoy the Wild Magic Dinner and Show at the Greg Frewin Theatre. Experience the mystery and art of illusion with Greg Frewin, one of the most decorated magicians in the world. Enjoy an evening performance of a Las Vegas Style Magical Revue featuring spectacular appearances by our rare and majestic tigers. Your IMAGINATION will be captivated and you will be AMAZED beyond belief. (B,D)

Day 4 – Duty Free Shopping – Depart for Home

Following breakfast at the hotel enjoy some last minute shopping at the Duty Free Shops before departing for home. (B)
