Itinerary
Day 1 – Panama City Beach, FL – Dinner at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville
Arrive today in Panama City Beach, FL where you enjoy a three-night stay one of the area’s beachfront hotels. Tonight, get the beach vibes started with dinner at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. There is something for everyone at Margaritaville, from decks overlooking the Gulf to the Boat Drinks Bar serving up your favorite frosty beverages. Plus, an exciting atmosphere and island music daily.
Day 2 – Option: Blue Angels Practice & National Naval Aviation Museum – Free Time for Beach – Todd Herendeen Theatre Dinner Show
Enjoy breakfast early this morning and a day on the beach, or venture out on a full day trip to Pensacola, FL and the Blues Angels Practice Flight Stimulations. (2025 schedule TBA, Blue Angels usually practice Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from March to November.) ** Note: It is a two hour trip each way. Flights are subject to weather and the availability of the Blues Angels.**
The world-famous Blue Angels are based at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola and can be seen practicing over the Museum on select days throughout the year. Gates open at 9:30 AM and the Blues are scheduled to take to the skies at 10:30 AM. Groups must arrive EARLY, once the Museum parking lot has been filled, NAS Pensacola will pause entry to the base. Other viewing opportunities may be available outside of NAS Pensacola including Fort Pickens, boat cruises, and various points throughout downtown.
After watching the Blue Angles you will learn about the evolution of Naval Aviation and experience hands-on history. Discover historic aircraft, cockpits, interactive exhibits and a vast collection of artifacts that are fun for all ages. Make the most of your adventure and see for yourself why the National Naval Aviation Museum is consistently voted a “must-see” along the Gulf Coast. Return to the hotel late this afternoon for free time for the beach and to freshen up before dinner.
Tonight, enjoy a dinner show at the Todd Herendeen Theatre, the newest Music and concert show room on the Gulf Coast. Bringing Branson style family friendly entertainment to beautiful Panama City Beach! Todd is an international touring and recording artist. His talent for changing his voice to “sound like” and bring back great memories of Music Legends is award winning and second to none! Enjoy an included dinner before the show. (B,D)
Day 3 – Pier Park – Pirate Ship Cruise – Winery Tasting – Pirates Voyage Dinner Show
Enjoy some more leisurely time this morning before heading to Pier Park for shopping and lunch on your own. Located on Front Beach Road in the heart of Panama City Beach, Pier Park is a premier shopping destination. The vibrant, coastal-themed center boasts more than 1 million square feet of open-air lifestyle shopping and features more than 120 stores. Retailers include department stores like Target, Dillard’s and JCPenney plus favorites like American Eagle Outfitters and Crocs. Locally-owned shops including Shimmering Seas Jewelry & Gifts and Hy’s Toggery are also part of the landscape.
Dining Options include: Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House, Pompano Joe’s, Margaritaville, Longhorn Steakhouse and more. Shoppers who are short on time can grab quick bites at Nathan’s Famous, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, PJ’s Coffee or one of many other sandwich or snack shops. Often referred to as Panama City Beach’s unofficial downtown, Pier Park is THE place to shop, dine and play!
The afternoon features ride on the Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise. Cruise away into the fantasy world of friendly swashbucklers and spirited pirates aboard a real 85′ pirate ship. BEWARE MATEYS! You may be required to do a little sword fighting or fire the kid cannon. After you and the other pirates have discovered the treasure and take your share of the loot, you will be invited to party hearty with festive music, games, and dancing all the way back to dock.
The afternoon also includes a wine tasting at Duplin Winery. Sample Duplin’s award-winning, cool, sweet and easy wines, while one of the employees walks you through the flavors and history of each wine.
End the day with a dinner show at the new Pirates Voyage (Opening Spring 2025). This exciting dinner attraction will bring pirates, mermaids, exciting acrobatics, and more to the Florida Panhandle. You will be treated to a dinner and show where the Crimson and Sapphire crews battle on deck, in the water of the 15-foot-deep lagoon, and in the sky above their two full-sized pirate ships! You can look forward to an evening of epic battles, breathtaking stunts, and a mouth-watering feast in our 60,000 square foot theater. (B,D)
