Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Las Vegas – Meet & Greet
Whether your group arrives by air or land you will be met by our company greeter in Las Vegas. This person will be at the Airport or your hotel depending on your mode of travel. If you fly, he/she will coordinate your luggage and hotel transfer from the airport. If you drive he/she will be at your hotel.
Assistance will be provided with your Casino Hotel check-in and with dinner and afternoon options as are appropriate to your arrival time. The cost of dinner tonight is not included. But a Las Vegas “Neon Lights” Tour is. This driving tour is a great orientation that starts at the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, and continues past dancing fountains and erupting volcanoes, and the Fremont Street Experience. You’ll see Pirate ships and Pawn Shops. You round out the evening by stealing a glance at several of the infamous drive-through wedding chapels – you may even see an Elvis impersonator in the process!
This will give your travelers a good wonderful orientation of where everything in Vegas is, so they can take advantage of their free time.
Day 2 – Free Daytime – Rat Pack Dinner Show
Following breakfast at the hotel (included), you will have a free morning and afternoon to enjoy. Spend time at the pool or in a spa, go shopping, visit casinos, take a daytime ride on the Las Vegas Monorail (Did you know you can ride the entire length of the Las Vegas Strip in Minutes?). No town has more diversions available to visitors than Las Vegas – there’s plenty to do.
However you guests spend the day, you gather them as a group tonight and relive the era of the Rat Pack. The most iconic Las Vegas’ Entertainers still live on in this tribute dinner tribute. It’s very reminiscent of how they appeared at the Sands Hotel Copa Room. Now in its eighteenth smash year the music of legends of Frank, Dino and Sammy rocks the Vegas strip.
A motorcoach will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the show. (B,D)
Day 3 – Hoover Dam – Lake Mead Boat Cruise
This day starts at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center with the Powerplant Tour. A 70-second elevator ride takes you 530 feet down through the rock wall of Black Canyon to begin a 30-minute guided tour. You’ll exit the elevator into a construction tunnel drilled in the 1930s and take a short walk to the Penstock Viewing Platform. This balcony gives you a panoramic view of the 650-foot-long Nevada powerplant wing and eight of the dam’s 17 huge generators.
Next, is a Lake Mead Scenic Boat Cruise & Lunch. Enjoy the largest man-made lake in the United States aboard a three-level Mississippi-style paddle wheeler. Cruise the beautiful waters of Lake Mead and view the unparalleled sights of Hoover Dam and the steep canyon walls that surround it. View Boulder Island, Sentinel Island and see the Arizona Paint Pots.
You have then have a free afternoon and evening. Dine in an elegant restaurant, take in a headliner show, or take your chances at a table in one of the world’s most famous casinos. (B,L)
Day 4 – Mob Museum – Neon Junkyard – Dinner Show
This morning following breakfast you will visit the Mob Museum. Officially it is the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement – a history museum located in Old Downtown Las Vegas. Opened in 2012 it is dedicated to the artifacts, stories, and history of organized crime in the United States, as well as the actions by law enforcement to prevent such crimes. It is housed in the former Las Vegas Post Office and Courthouse (1933), just two blocks north of Fremont Street, the main artery of the downtown casino district.
Next, visit the Neon Boneyard featuring signs from old casinos and other businesses displayed outdoors on more the 2 ½ acres. The Visitors Center is in the restored lobby from the defunct La Concha Motel. The signs are considered by Las Vegas locals to be not only artistic, but historical and significant to the culture of the city. Each of the restored signs in the collection holds a story about who created it and why it is important.
This evening we feature an Elvis Tribute Dinner Show, there a very few artists who played Vegas as much as Elvis. Any groups wanting to substitute our Retro shows with a more modern entertainment should simply ask us. We are happy to package any theaters and performers you desire into your Las Vegas package. (B,D)
Day 5 – Departure Day
Your Vegas Rendezvous ends and you begin that journey home by air or bus. Groups that want to extend their stay by another day or two have only to ask in order to have that wish granted. (B)
